The Very Best In Relief Artistry:
Legendary Casts A New Hope Style A One Sheet represents the very best in relief artistry. We’ve captured all of the original detail of the original movie poster in hand painted; quality cold cast resin. Each element of this 1977 release has been replicated with precision sculpting. The sculpture is fraught with details from Vader’s mask to the famous image of Luke and Leia. Several techniques were tried when sculpting this poster to create the most authentic representation possible while showing this classic poster in the new 3D format.

Legendary Poster Art:
Star Wars Episode VI A New Hope Style A One Sheet is probably the most recognizable of all of the Star Wars posters and the most prominent in the hearts and minds of fans. It may be the best known of any movie poster. The image of Luke and Leia found on this poster is engrained in pop culture ever since its first appearance in 1977. You still see parodies of this image to this day.

A Little History:
The original Style A poster was painted by artist Tom Jung with design work by Smollen, Smith, and Connolly. “Carrie Fisher's mother, Debbie Reynolds, loved the poster.” noted Jung, “She called David Weitzner at Fox's advertising department and asked if she could have the painting, so he asked me to do a duplicate painting, which is now hanging in Carrie Fisher's house. " --Cinefantastique Feb. '97 (by Lawrence French). It is a little known fact that there are four different printings of this style of poster. All are original, but each is different in the text at the bottom of the poster.
